Actors headshots are pretty set @ $110 per image, but families, pets and weddings - please call or email to request prices. We’d need to know a bit about what you’re after to give you the correct info. Please understand we can give you idea of price over the phone but you really have to visit us at the studio so you can pick out the products that you like. We have all sorts of frames, mounts and collages and can make custom packages for you, but how will either of us know what to quote you for, if you, yourself don’t know what you’d like from our range of products?! Some clients spend only $200-300 with us. Most clients spend between $500-2000 and we have clients that force money down our throats, so we can’t talk back! It’s all up to you and how much you love the photos. We certainly are not a high-pressure studio and it’s always up to you! We will work towards your budget, but that’s why it’s best to pay a visit first to get an idea of what we do and how much you’d like to spend before the shoot.
Yes, we do subtly retouch the images, but our aim in all retouching is always to make sure you'll never know what has been retouched! The plastic "glamour" look is the last thing we want to do to wreck a perfectly candid and natural photo of you looking amazing! We also will ask you at your viewing if there's anything we can do to the images to make you love them even more! But that's up to you and we never retouch too far!
What happens if we don't like the photos? We've NEVER had anyone not like at least some of the photos we've taken! That's what a viewing is for. You pick your favourites... But there's no pressure to buy the photos. If you don't like them - don't buy them! If, for any reason, you're not completely happy, we can schedule a reshoot or discuss what we can do to improve the result, whether it be an outfit or hairstyle that didn't work the way we thought it would. Most problems can usually be sorted out at the time of shooting.
Is there parking at the studio? On weekdays between 10am-3pm and on weekends, you can park directly out front. At other times, on Rofe St or behind us on Jarrett St is safer due to Parramatta Rd becoming a clearway between 3pm-7pm weekdays.
A standard shoot will usually be 1 hour for Hair and Makeup, 1 hour to shoot and 1 hour to view and choose your order. Also allow about 20 mins to download and process your images ready for your viewing. We’ll send you round the corner to the best barista in Leichhardt - Kevin, at CafeIn, for a cuppa while we get your images processed. You should plan to be with us for about 3.5 hours including makeup (2.5 hrs if you don’t opt for makeup). Sometimes, if we’re booked up or if there are kids or pups involved, we will book your viewing session for a later date.
How long does an order take to be produced? We can usually turnaround your order in 1-2 weeks for actors. 2-3 weeks for families where prints and frames are involved. Storybooks and Leather-bound Wedding Albums can take up to 12 weeks to be made. Rush jobs can be accepted but will attract a small fee and of course we will do everything in our power to get a rush job made, but we are at the mercy of our suppliers and couriers. Please make sure we know about any due dates for presents or going away so we can have everything back well in time!
